COURSE SUMMARY and STORYLINE: What is Management? Your assumptions will be overturned as you navigate through this course. Learn to manage yourself first as you take on challenging tasks such as a building project using the principles of the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT). Your quantitative analysis and decision-making skills will be put to the test as the company counts on your business intelligence and statistical forecasting. In addition, the annual awards ceremony is just around the corner, and you and your training partner Ken will decide which employees will receive a coveted Central P award. Will you be ready for your tasks? And, when the awards ceremony comes around, will you know what it means to manage others?

(This course gives attention to the knowledge and skills needed to grow and sustain performance in an organization, whether a full company, a department, a division, or other strategic business unit within an existing organization by getting the right things done through teams of people. It addresses the common management functions of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. This course has 11 modules.)
