COURSE SUMMARY: This course gives attention to the knowledge and skills needed to grow and sustain performance in an international business organization, whether a full company, a department, division or other strategic business unit within an existing organization. It addresses the common international business functions of market analysis, exporting, sourcing, direct foreign investment, and cross-cultural management. This course has 12 modules.
STORYLINE: Frederick Bairos, Director of International Business at Central Products has just hired three regional directors for Central's expanding international efforts. They have just arrived at the Oklahoma headquarters for a fast track training, and Mr. White has convinced Bairos to allow you to participate. As part of your training you will travel with CK, regional director of Asia, Courtney, regional director for Middle and South America, Canada, and the UK, and Abdel, regional director for the Middle East and Africa. And you will witness them experience their own cross cultural challenges first hand.
