Life Finances is a foundational, 10 module personal finance course covering topics such as credit, banking, insurance,
investments, mortgages, etc. The course engages students in a storyline and requires responses to real life
circumstances. As decisions are made, participants see the financial consequences on their bank statements.
With the help of their virtual friends, students are encouraged to make sound financial decisions.
In conjunction with Thespis Media, Vertical Learning Curve created this course to meet the challenges
faced by high school and college students as they learn to manage their personal finances. The course
meets the requirements of most states that require financial training for graduating high school seniors.
The college edition creates an opportunity for universities to help high school students meet those
requirements while also earning concurrent college credits.
